Description

In this assay, nitric oxide produced by NOS undergoes a series of reactions and reacts with a fluorescent probe to produce a stable signal at Ex/Em=360/450 nm, which is proportional to NOS activity. In the presence of NOS-specific inhibitors, NO formation is reduced/eliminated, resulting in reduced or complete loss of fluorescence.
